Cummins v6 in Durango/ V8 in Ram 1500 Test Results

Our prices are jumping from . 05 to . 10 on every increase. It's now $3. 53 in central Idaho. This isn't the highest in the state by any means.

Don't worry though..... everything will settle down at about $6. 00 a gallon!!!!!

We just park the Dodge and use the Jetta now.

Yeah it hasn't been under $3. 00 for a while around here.

I filled up this past weekend and it was almost $100 to fill the tank. That's when it was $3. 23. Now the cheapest place is $3. 39 and most expensive is $3. 74

It seems the NW and other spots around the West have it the worst.

It seems stations jack up the price to make up for thin margins on gasoline because it's easier to get away with it. Gas spikes 20 cents and the media goes crazy. Diesel jumps 40 cents in a week and no one notices. Why it's highest in the west and NW though I'd like to understand that one. Must be all those exports to China, I know they send a lot over there. Let those guys find their own dang oil

Aloha fellow cummings fanatics... ... ... ... ... ... Here on the Big Island of Hawaii the most I paid was 3. 62 for the high end and low was 3. 28 in Hilo on the other side of the island. Thanks for all the ideas and answera on this wonderful site anyone that doesnt become a member has a loose TPS sensor... ... Aloha.

i live 65 miles no. of seattle in Mt. Vernon its $3. 49-3. 50 here with $3. 01 for regular unleaded. the news said we would get it the worst because we were supplied by the pipe line. robert

Diesel was $3. 29 in town tonight. Ethanol was $2. 95 and regular was $2. 99. Of course you can't forget that stupid @$$ 9/10 on the end.

You guys are forgetting that this is the time of the year the oil companys start ramping up for home heating oil. Diesel should be up now 'til about Feb. or March. I've owned a diesel truck since 1990 and it's been the same every year.

Ran 2000 miles on vacation (Albuquerque-L. A. -Las Vegas- Albuquerque) pulling our fifth wheel a week ago. The lowest we paid was $2. 82, the highest was $4. 49!

Yup, mistimed my fuel stop and had to fuel up in the middle of the desert on I-40 between Needles and Barstow. Needless to say, I only put in enough to get to Barstow.

They had a sign on the door that basically said "it costs a lot to do business out here - if you don't like our prices, feel free to go somewhere else".

Ouch...

$3. 07 in Paradise, California on the corner of Skyway and Wagstaff. Took a business trip this week and was on the north coast Crescent City to Eureka, those tree hugging pinkos are from 3. 39 to 3. 79 and the same in the San Fran'sico' bay area. I find the highest fuel prices where the people vote Demoncrat and look at diesel as an evil product.

Man... . I need to move to TX or South GA.

Actually dropped down here the other day. It has been $3. 15 for over a month or so. Just paid $3. 05 a couple days ago to the tune of $80. 00 to fill the tank.

I'm sure it will shoot up any day now... .

Just checked the Flying J web-site;

Portland Oregon (there must be a ton of those pinko fags there. . right!) diesel... $2. 88

Boise Idaho (hmmm... . probably a few left coasters) diesel... $3. 39

Small town Idaho (let me check..... nope... . just a bunch of farmers, ranchers and loggers) diesel... $3. 53

Your theory on who's causing high fuel prices is way off. Here's a little hint though... ... ..... check on the guy you voted for.

Better yet. . why don't we keep the political comments down on the "Politics" forum.

Well here in the Mid-West, (KC) we went from $2. 84 to $3. 06 over night, then a few days later it jumped to $3. 14. :{ OUCHY I think they like sticking in and then breaking it off. Really make we want to try making my own bio fuel.

Does anyone care that the oil companies are pricing diesel at futures prices and paying the royalty owner at old prices? We are getting scrwed and the oil companies are getting rich!

A lot of the price differences are based on taxes. The Feds take the same in every state, but states can tax it anyway they want to. Texas, Oklahoma, Georgia and South Carolina have some of the lowest taxes. Prices will be higher on the West Coast and the NW until BP fixes the pipeline in Alaska that provides your refineries with crude. I lived in Seattle a few years in the nineties and remember getting screwed several times when the big Texaco refinery in Anacortez was shut down a few times.

I paid 2. 90 in OKC 4 days ago. Flying J's four stations in OK according to their website are all in the low 2. 90's. You must be in a small town or shop at the wrong station.
