New Tulsa dyno day and race

M-D TDR - All TDR Event 4-27-02 Big Rig Nats

Stevek not sure yeat I may take the camper over on thursday or friday and make a long weekend of it let me know when it gets closer and if we can we can follow each other you going to pigin forge ?

I figured I'd pick a few Bee's out o the grill before, but then remembered the drive back there and said to heck with it. .come as you are party. . buggggggs and all LOL [I might take some glass cleaner to the windows somewhere between here and there:p ]

It looks like there are a lot of guys coming who are members of various chapters. If enough of you come who belong to a chapter together, I'd like to suggest having a little friendly competition between the organizations. Wouldn't it be cool for your club to have a club banner saying "We beat GLTDR at Muncie" (which aint gonna happen :) )?

To make it work, each club would enter (select) an equal number of trucks, hoping that the chosen trucks can out-do the trucks chosen to run for the competition . For the pulls, it would be total number of feet pulled - For the drags, it would be lowest total 1/4 mile times - For the dyno, it could be total horse power or total torque or a calculation of the two.

Maybe a pass around trophy would be best for this activity. The guys who don't win this time would try to take it from the "King of the Hill" next time.

What do you think?

Very interesting.

Are you talking one truck per event, or each truck must run all three?

Tell you what, GLTDR and Mason Dixon have some STRONG trucks.

Wunner if any of those other pansy groups have any power?

Maybe we could have an RV backing contest for the oldsters??

After all, old people towing RVs is what started TDR. :D

Gettin' ready?

I'm getting ready. Put some JB Weld on the sewer pipe leak yesterday. Packed the peanut butter. Yep, I'm ready. I'm still camping right next to you, right Dave? ;)

Maybe some of the oldsters can have a little show and tell of the tools and methods used to tune the 12 valves properly for the younger crowd. After all it was the oldsters who developed most of the worthwhile hop-up parts:D

Doc, any word on which camp ground most of the guys are staying at ? I was hoping to still get in one of the local camp grounds(forgot about reserving a spot ) .
