Who's using High Tech Turbos..........

I'm thinking about purchasing one of their turbos, how many of you guys are using them and how do you like it? What kind of difference has it made on your trucks. Let me have your opinions. Thanks

I don't have one, but that's the direction I'm leaning. I haven't heard anything bad about them.

All reports are that they make good stuff and they seem to have their shady install kits ironed out now. The only complaining that I have heard lately is from the guys that went with the smaller HTB2s wishing they had gone bigger as they were not seeing the EGT drop they had hoped for. It looks like the Killer-B would be best for slightly modified trucks and SledPuller 66 for highly modified. Folks with those two models haven't really been complaining at all.

My B2 has been great. Mine gave me about 200 degrees cooler, maybe Scott can tell how much his killer b2 dropped his egt's. Kind of interested in the difference between the two.

Kind of tough to directly compar on two diffrent trucks. Mine being a 250 hp 03 and yours a 325 hp 04. 5. 200° is close to what it did for me, injectors change temps as well as other factors but it's definitly a big step up from the stocker and has prooven to be very tough.

I ran the killerb on my 03 for a while and did about 30,000 miles of daily driving and towing with it. It was a great trubo all around. Not to mention the tech support has always been second to none. You always get a live person on the end of the phone ready to answer your questions or assist you in any way.

I got the HTBG - smaller than the htb2. I wish I would have gone bigger - especially since I have a box now. But overall, I'm happy with it. Quality was top notch and customer service is excellent. Paul really goes out of his way to help out if you need it. Mine will be going back for either an htb2 or the Killerb.
