I changed my injectors a few weeks ago, they are great!

However, I've gotten whiffs of diesel ever since. I have tried retorquing the fuel line retainer nuts. I also bought new o-rings for the connector tubes. Still smelling the occasional whiff of diesel.

Any help is appreciated.

Have you checked to see if number 6 injector line is leaking? Turn it off and reach back there. Run your finger around the underneath side of the nut and see if it's wet. The other 5 are easily seen.

My #6 line was loose a couple weeks after my last injector upgrade. Tightened it, no problems since. If I ever do injectors again, I'll get a crowsfoot wrench and adjust the torque accordingly.

leak checks

sprinkle some baby powder on #6 (and others that are suspicious). The heat from the engine will keep it there for awhile and show any leak right away. Just air/water hose it off after you're done.

You may have to change out o-rings and maybe connector tubes. Sometimes they just never seat well esp. after overtorquing. Try holding the fuel line from twisting with the nut also. Hard to do and be accurate with tq values.
