I question that also. I sold my 95, which was 10 years old at the time, for $16K. Even is NStates 10 year old truck isn't in the great condition my 95 was in, it should still be worth $10K.

In 10 years my truck would have about 400,000 miles on it and many of those would be heavy towing. If one could sell it outright it would be worth something if you could find a buyer. Used trucks in FL don't move like they do up north. If it was a used 4WD It would move easy because it has no rust. I find it best to save what would be a payment each month and trade more often. Have managed to make a good deal each time in Dade City. If I can find a buyer for my used truck It brings top dolla.
