I'm guessing they didn't get much (if any) grease at the factory.

I replaced the factory rear joint at 45K with a 351. The 351 got replaced (under warranty I might add) when the center bearing/joint went bye-bye. Both those OEM joints are still in there at 170K. I think the dealer mech was a lot more liberal with the grease than the fatory robot. Although the front axle joints have been replaced twice, once under warranty and once outta pocket. Weird.
