2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Why do front brakes wear so fast?

Jack up the rear axle pull off the rubber plug on the bottom inside of the wheel look in there you will see a star wheel give it a couple of clicks and spin the tire to make sure you don't go to far and put a drag on the drums.
