Why do the old threads disappear?

Wondering where the old threads go too looking for my going to Gemany thread.

Opps I found it under the search

They don't disappear - by default you only see the previous 10 days threads. Look at the bottom of the thread list on a forum and you'll see a box that will allow you to change how far back threads are shown - you can go all the way back to the beginning of the site.

Whoever taught you about the TDR birds and the bees apparently forgot to mention the tail end of life. You see, when a thread gets old and stale and crotchety, it gets shuffled off to the... .
