With the EPA spelling it out so clearly in black and white I guess no one should ever question the reason, integrity, agenda, authentication, power or justification of the people within such an organization.....

But reading their mission statement only brings me back full circle in regards to one of my first thread posts where I said, "I agree that most regulations intent on protecting the well being of society start off with good intentions", but over time money and power.....and gaining more money tend to shadow the original reasons. Unfortunately the public tends to overlook those obvious problems as they arise too by accepting skewed and erroneous reports pushing even stricter "regulations" upon us. Why.....? Well because.....they're the experts so they must be smarter.

Look we can quote battle this debate forever but I guess it comes down to if you choose to believe without question then thats your choice. I on the other hand am choosing to eat something else since thats my choice.

I'm just looking for some kind of evidence for your speculations. Give me a specific piece of evidence that it's about money and not:

- A mission, to protecting human health and the environment
- PM's are an obvious issue
- They issue regulations to address it.

Which part of the above, specifically, do you not accept? Do you have better data, based on your research, that PM's are not a health issue?

Again, be specific, no generalities about the fact that corruption exists in the world.

Regeneration occurs by adding additional fuel. That is where the heat comes from that cleans the DPF.

This (see quote) is active regeneration. If you tow alot and towing get 10-13 mpg, you are already getting it hot enough to clean the DPF...... This is passive regen.

Active regens: your 17-20 mpg might drop to 15-17 mpg. Towing: probably won't see a drop in mpg
