Why does my trailer jerk back and forth so much?

How is a trailer rated for GVWR

Looking for a good 27-30 ft. Travel Trailer

Although it has been a month, thanks for all the responses, although my problem is still not fully solved. In response to the various suggestions and comments:

1. I unplugged the brake controller and it made no difference.

2. I coasted to see if it was an engine problem, but it bucked just as bad.

3. I had weighed my rig when towing the lift back from Houston, the first trip with it. That trip had much less bucking than later trips so I must not be loading it in the same spot I did the first time.

I recreated this problem loading my skid steer loader (5800#) too close to the rear of the trailer. I found that I could eliminate most of the bucking by moving it forward, but never totally eliminate it.

When the man lift is loaded, it's rear tires sit about mid point between the two trailer axles, and have tried it further forward with little improvement.

Do I have a suspension problem with my truck that maybe came about during or after my first tow of the man lift? Any other ideas?

One other thought. The bucket of the man lift is free floating, but pulled down snug with a strap. I don't have anything over the goose neck to set it down on and tie it tight. Could the bouncing of the bucket and arm cause this problem?
