Why France did NOT Support Iraqi Liberation

The news just reported that France holds controlling interest in an Iraqi oil field that contains 15% of all Iraqi oil.



What a sweet deal that must be (or must have been).



They were getting their oil for about $12 /barrel. What a great way to be competitive on the world market.



The goal of the EU is to destroy our economy. I hope the French people that support Chirac all get what they deserve - nothing more, nothing less. All French people aren't bad, just like all CTD owners aren't bad.



The Iraqi Ambassador to the UN is also reported to be heading to France. He better get his sorry arse out of the US before some Iraqis in NY drag him around like the statue in Baghdad.

Wasn't if France that helped Iraq build the mother of all guns built on a hillside around the time of the gulf war?

I don't know about the gun but they sure were the one's that helped Iraq build a nuclear reactor. That is, until Isreal bombed it.
