This is how we do it up here. Granted, it's an off road situation BUT this is a highway tractor with 46,000 lb rears on Hendrickson spring suspension. These guys are DRIVERS.

That white tag on the door jamb is just there for looks.....

Third picture is the scale slip. He had to back down one hill 6 times even with his tire chains on because it had snowed a bit overnight. If you can't drive you either get hurt or dead.

I've left the scale a couple times with close to 100k , but I had a 30" dump trailer with a 300 mack 5 speed pulling it.:-laf Dopey loader operators......A PINCH...not a bucket!
On occasion my brother had to do something and I drove his truck. 379 Pete double bunk with a 425 hi torque Cat & a 15 speed. Trailer was a 40" Ravens frameless.
Pulled off with 120K a few times. Didnt make much a difference with that truck anyway. That truck was REALLY nice!
Of course, this was all on real roads.....
