I'm a conservative driver---my lyometer is sitting on 24 mpg after 400 mi since fill-up including a 250 mi trip and a 6 mile funeral drive procession---I've bought one set of tires in 177k miles. With the whole tale of this thread going from way out in left field to foul ball off first base, allow me one observation, please. With the exception of the "John Force" types and teeny boppers in little Japanese cars, my stock sig truck with a low stall converter is effortlessly a half truck length into an intersection after the light changes before most vehicles (drivers) know what happened. Ain't nothing like immediately available Cummins torque! Driving it is as easy as falling off the proverbial log. If a mother couldn't drive it, she needs to give up/have taken her driver's license.
