until i ruined his dreams and showed him maddogs truck, 10. 59

You guy's are cracking me up!! :-laf :-laf :-laf

Matt- I was just goign easy with the mileage but hel11 500,000 miles too bad the rest of the truck wont hold up that long :(

Just let me knwo a few days ahead on when you might go to the dyno. Id like to check mine and see what shes got. Just let me know early enough so I can try to get the day off work.

Im bringin the camer for your runs so that I can relive them whenever! woohoo will your truck even fit on the dyno?!?!? :-laf

keep on truckin

Ian

yes both of them will fit, i hope  i am going to try and get my 95 down there but might only be able to get my 98, with any luck i will try and have it going for it mayee in a week or two.

dockboy, and he said that was at 138mph kinda high for high 12's huh.

i am working my ***** off on getting my 95 out and going, thinking about having a dd clutch built for it if time pans out right. still stumped on the transmission. i cant find a way to put in my t-case with my 4wd transmission. with any luck i might be able to get a tailshaft to fit it this week. Oo.

New dyno in Jackson!!

If anyone is interrested. I think the guy said $50 for 3 runs. It's a brand new mustang dyno. I haven't seen it yet, but the Strap-On guy said it's "bad ***" let me know if you're interrested, and i'll get the #.

Curtis

i-6 thats the one i was talking about, his name is dick, great guy. lives down on ackerson lake rd. have you been there yet? its a pretty cool setup. does this mean you would be intrested in going in a group run???? i would like to see what your truck could lay down, bet its pretty impressive. gotta try for a warm day though, he hasnt quite got the diesel smoke issue finished up yet! took my cousins psd down and filled the shop with just a 100hp programer, just think if we get all these smokin dodges down there Oo.

just got off the phone with dick and he might have the exhaust setup to keep his shop clean!!!me and my friends have a tennitave date of feb 19, but it could be pushed to the weekend after that, so far there is 3 or 4 trucks from our area going, anyone else intrested????

Doubt i'll dyno...

But i'd sure like to be there to watch. My truck impressive ?? LOL yea right.

If i could afford a DTT then i would dyno for sure. I was thinking of calling LsFarm to see if he would like to come, so the sooner i get a date set in stone, i'll make the call. He might not though, it's a drive for him. I'm sure Steve StLaurent (might have mis-spelled, sorry) would like to join with proper notice. I would now suggest moving this to a different forum, to catch some attention. Matt where do you work ??

Later

Curtis

yeah kinda got off subject a bit. i bet youd be suprised with that plate and springs. that would be cool to get greg to come over and show off a bit. never thought about steve. . what do ya say?? maybe have a good group go down at once Oo. i work at nashville construction co. i build roads in the summer and play with trucks in the winter. works out good for me, no cold weather working!!! and i get paid to play with these trucks Oo. didnt think that many people would be intresterd in coming so i didnt think about a thread but with the intrest that its generating it might not be a bad idea.

dick can even do 1/4 mile times on the dyno so it would be a fun compition.

Yea my truck might put out a decent #, but i don't want to make life on my T/C very hard. I'm in the process of selling this truck and trying to find a 98 12V Q/C 4dr. 4x4. If you or anyone else knows where i could find one i sure would appreciate it.

As it is i'm going tomorrow to get gravel for the drive way. 3 loads with 5 ton each. My T/C is going to hate me!! Not to mention about an hr drive each way... .

Plz keep your eyes out for that truck if you would.

Thanks

Curtis

I-6 come on put it on the dyno!! ive just got the box so it wont be too snazy but just bragging rights to be on a dyno and do 1/4 times woohoo

Ive been talking with Greg to get to holly about my trans work (tps & gps) and he will be in town that weekend and thats it for Feb that he will be around.

Im up for anything group or just 3 guys and mine doenst smoke :( so the exhaust fans prolly wont have to stress on those runs :-laf

Pauls High Performance in jackson has a dyno too but the last time I checked it was like 150 for an hr of dyno time.

Ian

Ian i totally understand about bragging rights and all. Bragging right's won't pay for trans to be overhauled when it goes bang either :(

I really just need to take it easy on the old gal, and not dyno! sorry guys. My T/C slides into lock-up as it is. If i could get it to shift into lock-up like normal i would dyno it.

$150 an hour doesn't seem to bad, 3 of us could get 3 runs a peice in an hour. pretty close.

Curtis

fellas check this out.....

the pure physics of the dodge have quite a few pounds over the front axel and if the trucks were in 4wd the dodge would have won. In any case the same HP or close to it would come down to traction & weight. ya notice in the vid that the dodge starts to pull the truck backward then it somehow it falls victom

AHHHH im TICKED!!!!!
