I bought one of those Brittish helmets back in 1999 just as an addition to what's coming. They didn't have any sales pitch or testimonials. What more could you want from a helmet?



7. 62x39 ammo from AK-47 are fairly hot bullets. Glad he's ok.

Are the US Military's M-16's full auto or semi auto?

Can't speak to the ones these days but when I was in they had a fire selector switch you had either depended on where you set the switch.

in the mid 1980's when I was in the US Army, they had semi-auto and full-auto modes. We were told that the next rev comming out would NOT have full auto, but rather semi-auto and 3 round burst modes only. I worked in our small arms repair shop, so I figured that scuttle butt was fairly accurate.

When I was in the Air Force in the 90's, the M-16's had a semi and a 3 shot burst.

Ok, AR15's are the civilian version. they are all semi only. M16 are the millitary version. the M16A1 and M16A2 were semi/full and the M16A3 and later are semi/3 burst. They can be converted from one fire version to another betweel all of the AR15 and M16 bo changing the trigger, hammer, safety, disconector, safety and bolt carrier.

I talked with a friend of mine that does purchasing for the Air Force here locally, he said that the Rev 1 M-16 is the full auto, and Rev 2 and 3 are the 3 shot bursts. He orders the Rev 2's because they have heavier barrels and are capable of longer shots.
