Why not a 10 speed?

I like the GV gear vendors under/overdrive you can get them for 4 speed or up to 6 speed. Had one in a V10 dodge. It got as good milage as the 5 speed diesel did and keep up with it. Jest more shifts but did a very good job

Personally, I could be happy with a 3 or 4 speed... . you only need gears if you don't have enough engine!

A 3 speed manual transmission, behind an engine that redlines @ 3,200? ummmmm, no!



5600/4:10 combo, I'd be happy with another hole sometimes ... ... like right now, I've only got 6,000# or so in tow.

What I really want is a . 80 OD and a . 65 OD... That would make me very happy...
