That is a very good question and I dont know the answer to that question but it seems like it is a good enough technology for the time being. I dont know where else we could easily get energy from to propel a vehicle other than nuclear power (I can see it now..... Town was wiped out this morning after a motor vehicle colision ended in an atomic explosion..... )
