I only ran the Comp a couple of days with the pump wire disconnected - truck runs great, and did a great job towing our 5er from California to NC, Florida and back - but the Comp power is finally getting to be more that the stock clutch can take. I guess that as the piles pile up - 22,000 so far - and the clutch gets smoother, it's just too much. I can't run the Comp above level 1 any more, even empty, without slipping the clutch - a shame, cuz I'm real sure the power is significantly higher than last dyno, but I don't dare run it on the dyno the way it is.
There's a SBC in my future - THEN, maybe injectors and upgraded exhaust system... YEAH, even some of us OLD COOTS get power hungry...
