I'm purchasing my gauges soon. Pricing out the same gauges at Genos puts the DiPricols nearly $140 more than the Isspros (Boost/EGT/Fuel Pressure/transmission temp) ($361 Isspro vs. $500 DiPricol). I know the Dipricols use LED but why such a large difference? Should I expect better performance, longevity, something? I've read about the problems with DiPricols and their lighting, but I can't really find anything negative about the Isspros.

I agree the lighting is bad on my Pricol Trans Temp gauge. But its good on the Fuel PSI gauge. I don't know why the price difference.

I had Isspros in my last truck, and for the most part they were great. The lighting isn't perfect, but it was good. Performance was good as well.

If it wasn't for the rail pressure gauge only being offered by Di Pricol, I'd go with the Isspros again.

I don't have an answer as to why they're more expensive, maybe because they're relatively new?

I have been using Isspro Boost,transmission ,Egt and Mech Fuel pressure gauge

for about 7 years no problems yet. Oo.

Some time higher cost don't make it better. :-{}

scootergmc,

Go to Vulcan's website... . they have a special on DiPricol and Isspro EV gauge packages right now... . blows the competition away.

My isspro fuel pressure gauge hasn't been working for some time now. It rattles and its not accurate. I will get another one so it matches my other gauges. Jeff

My DiPricols have been great. I upgraded to from a 35 psi to a 60 boost, and got the Optix. It's alot brighter than my pyro guage, which is regular lighting.

I have isspro guages and arnt impressed with them,all the little caps on the middle of the pointers ane crooked,but they work fine with no problems. When i ordered mt r/p guage i was impressed w/ the pricol guage and the caps in the middle of the guages match the dash of the truck perfectly, plus since the twins etc. im pegging the 60lb boost guages so im gonna order pricol cause they have 100lb guages,eventually ill upgrade all of them to pricol,jmo

I have the isspro gauges, one for m. transmission, one for EGT and one for boost. They all look great, and have worked just fine for me. I find the lighting level is perfect too. easy to see them in the daytime and at night if they were any brighter they would be a distraction.

Here's a pic. I really like the multi-colored EGT gauge, makes it easy to reference. When sitting back in the arm chair it might not seem like a big deal, but get into a technically demanding driving section, say a hill that's 20miles long on a winter snow packed highway, it suddenly becomes a very nice feature to be able to keep an eye on the EGTs with peripheral vision.
