WOW!! Over 38" tall :--) on that 1401 series, I'm sure it will filter but where would you put it!!!

10 micron sounds like the standard. The D-max has the same rating. Lots of those guys have gone to a 2-micron filter and seen milage and performance improvements. The source for their kits is kennedy-diesel.com . He is a pretty decent guy, not sure if he has something that would work for us but he has lots of diesel experience. I bought some Bilstien shocks for my Chevy from him, very good service. Might be worth a try.
