SE Wisconsin roundup weekend selection

I'd like to check my timing. Jim, was there any discussion between you and Aron about getting together to borrow tools from him? I'd like to use his timing set.

Craig, I do have a couple of small jobs to do and my truck sure could use a wax job... :D

As for the KDP fix, if you want to do the tab method, do a search for KDP and my user name. There is a link that will take you to the sketch for a tab and the (longer) bolt you'll need to buy. You'll need a front seal too. Show up with all that and I think we can get it done...

I am gonna try to get up to Aron's this Friday sometime to get the timing kit.

Does anybody else have any projects going on?

I have some stuff to do to my truck, but I am gonna be busy with cooking and just trying to be a good host.

If the weather looks kinda bad, you guys can call me before you come, I should be up by 6am or so on Saturday.

I also took Friday off to get ready. Anybody with last minute questions can call me then also. Or, if you plan on coming Friday night, I'll be around.

I am going to try to get a tv and a vcr to watch some pullin tapes, if anybody is interested in that.

If the weather does get crappy, there will be enough room inside for everybody to stay dry, eat, play cards, bull****, etc.

Well Jim,

I'll have to leave you the code to the garage so you can get the timing rig. I'm going out of town early Friday (or Thursday night) for that wedding. I can leave it out on the hood of my truck for you to take it. Take the rig, not the truck (if it's running by then). And if I come home and any parts are missing from my truck, I'm gonna hunt you down. :D

Gimme a call and I will get you the info you'll need.

Can't make it...

Duty calls and I have to work on Saturday. We expected the project I'm on would be done early this week but it's run long. I'm growing weary of the 70+ hour weeks (but Sunday off!) but the $ is nice. (My truck has an appointment at Goerends in November. :D ) I had my 40 hours in last night before I left and tonight will be a late one.

Is anyone going to be working on Sunday? I'd really like to check my timing but I don't know if I can justify the drive time, things have been on hold at home for a while and I have other things to do too.

Have fun and thanks for the invite, I'll see you at the next one.

Looks like I don't have to work on Saturday

Looks like I won't have to work on Saturday! I'll be leaving early morning and plan on spending the day. I have to go to a wedding on Sunday afternoon(wedding on Sunday:confused:  ). At least I won't be at work... . Had two expert fork truck drivers put both of their trucks on their sides today(kind of a domino effect:) ). Good thing nobody had gotten injured.

I plan on convoying with some fellow cheese heads.

THANKS JIM !!!

Thanks Jim for having us to your shop. I had a lot of fun B. S. with every body and it was good to see everyone again.

Craig

Thanks again Jim

Thanks again Jim. It was funny talking trucks with everyone and eating some good grilled food. LOL at "Sandblaster" (that's what happens when you don't have your navigator with you:-laf :-laf ).

Jim, I had a great time Saturday. Thanks for opening up the shop and you did a good job of grilling those brats and hamburgers. Dave, Thanks for helping put my fuel pressure gauge in the truck. Everything is still working. Unfortunately, as I told Craig on the way home, I'm going to have an accident while I look at the gauge. Only went on the shoulder twice going home Saturday night.

Paul

Jim, Could you make sure to have the back lot paved before the next "bomb" meeting? I'd hate to have anymore trucks get swallowed up in the sand like on Saturday. Good thing we had some quick thinking members on hand to pull the truck to safety before it was lost forever.

Paul

We had a good time too.

I want to thank everyone for coming. It was really good seeing you guys again. I had a great time, and I think Slim did too.

Pictures of the sandblaster?

I believe I saw someone taking photo's just cant recall who it was... ;) there was so many people it was hard to keep track:--)

The individual, who shall remain nameless has to get them developed and put on a cd to post... at least I think thats what he said:eek:

:D :D :D :D :D :D

Dave

Aint that right John... .

I agree jim, was a good time. Good to see some new and old faces. Next time Paul will have the sandrail tires installed.
