It sounds like water dripping... I think its just the water going through the heater core, but today, it was doing it when it was warm. . I have heard it when its cold, but I guess I have never tried to listen for it when at normal operating temp. Is this normal??

Water sounds

I have noticed the same thing on my 96, when it is cold and i start the truck you can hear water going through the heater core, is this good or bad?

I wish I could help but I have never heard a similar sound on my truck. Does it do it with the heater controls in the vent and defrost etc positions? Does it do it with the fan on? Did you recently replace your antifreeze and could you have air in the system? Hope this gives you some other ways to track it down.
