Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) wierd noise

hey all i noticed when i am reving up i guess past 2500 my truck sounds like its missing and sometimes even pops it dosent matter if its cold or warmed up any ideas it is straight piped.

Does it do it only when not warmed good?

no it does it does it all the time even after 20 min of highway driving.
