Wierd Noise

When ideling it sounds like power steering pump but going about 60 it a loud whining sound like a fan cluch any ideas anybody.

i bought an 03 and it's doning the same thing i just ordered a clutch from AutoZone ($145) so i will try that this weekend let you know if it fixes the noise. if not i supect the fan pulley bearing, because when the truck is running i can hold the fan putting pressure against it and the tone of the noise changes.

well the autozone clutch fan was the wrong one and i've have not found one (except the dealer) to replace it $319 from dealer is not cheap any one know of a place i could get it cheaper.

well i replaced the clutch fan and that helped alot but there is still a noise any one have any ideas

still fighting this thing i think it is the fan spinning all the time that makes the noise maybe i need the ECM reflashed.
