Ok guys I just recently got my truck back from a wreck i had back in april, I was hit in the driver's side front wheel. I am now hearing strange noises and am not getting the same boost i once was, it hits about 30psi and drops back to somewhere around 24 - 26psi, I hear whistles and other unexplainable noises, the whistle i am attributing to body, but the other noise is only under boost (higher levels of boost) Any ideas.

Kevin

Check the turbo silencer ring, could have come loose.

Never mind, I see your's is MIA.

Could be a loose hose and now you are hearing the tubro a bit more, would explain the boost drop.

Intercooler boot

The left side intercooler boot can rub the body seam on an undamaged truck.

The collision may have pushed the inner fender closer to the boot.

I had to split a piece of fuel hose to put on the seam to stop the chaffing of the boot.

LOL

I am also hearing a rattling sounding noise at the upper rpms (2300 - 3300) I will check the cooler hoses, i will let y'all know if i find the problem, hopefully it is simple to fix.

I am also seeing hotter EGTs than i was with the same setup i was running before, so my guess comes to the intercooling system as well, just praying I can find it and it isn't something expensive when i find it.
