Wife in premature labor please pray

Hey folks,



I am just home from the hospital for a few minutes to get some clean clothes... ... . We found out today that my wife is in premature labor and are praying for a successful outcome. She is only 26 weeks along so it is real touch and go. If possible would you please say a prayer for my family especially my wife and our new child.

My wife is a delivery nurse and she has told me that although 26 is still pretty early, as long as her membrane has not ruptured, it isn't necessarily going to mean delivery right away. They can induce some drugs to stop the delivery and keep the baby developing. I'm sure you know all this by now.



We had a friend recently that started at 26 weeks also. Doctor was able to postpone her delivery until 30 weeks, and she had twin girls. Keep your chin up. Our prayers are with you and your family. Please keep us advised of her progress.

My little girl came over 2 months early. Be forewarned the drug they use to stop the labor (Mag Sulfate) causes all kinds of weird sensations in your wife, like burning and flushing of the skin. So, don't freak out when she starts to complain of weird things after the drug administration.
