Tell her that one was just TOO EASY.

Maybe I better not look at the next one she posts, don't want to land you in the dog house.

By the way I have 2 pumpkin pies (pumpkin from last years garden) in the fridge right now with that edging on them.

:-laf Ive been in all kinds of dog house's so it wont matter the mules dont snore and I can pass gas and they dont care. The barn isn't that bad the hay makes for a soft mattress. It didnt help that I told her well at least it took 3 or 4 guesses on mine :-laf YOU MADE MY DAY!!!!!!!!!!! :-laf

:-laf She said is there something that you two should tell us about???? :-laf

Ya see what I have to deal with FULL TIME NOW!!!!!

Just tell her the TDR guys always have all the answers !!!!!!;)

And us older guys have seen a lot gadgets over the years and know how they work.

My wife has a lot of what what you were refering to as "Midieval Tools" also so her "special items" may not be to hard to identify either. :D

Old Hay tools

I'm going to give away the question! Have you ever used this to handle Hay? My Grandfather and Uncles used horse drawn equipment. I was not old enough to work it but spent plenty of time in the hay wagon and the loft slinging a pitch fork! The rest was "mens work"! Grandaddy always said; "if you want a mans work done, you sent a man to do it". The Youngins' were the go-'fers and cleanup crew:-laf!
The mowers, and rake were horse drawn as well as the wagon. At the time there were no tractors available that would be stable on the steep hills, back home!
Our barn was set up for loose hay. No bailers until I was a pre-teen!
Heres some pictures of an old catalog. Our hay hoist was rigged with a Harpoon fork(about 4' long and 80+ pounds) figure 356, page 40, and a carrier similar to the one page 6, that gathered what was stabbed by the harpoon in the center. You did not want to be standing on the hay pile when Grandaddy dropped the harpoon from the track at the top of the barn;)! GregH

Don't even like the looks of that!!!!!! I use a hoist and do it by arm/back/shoulder strength one 3 wire bale at a time wife pulls them to the side in the loft untill I get tired about 10 to 15 bales. Then hook the mules up and let them earn their keep for a while then time for another set of 10 to 15 Don't need to go to the Gym for a workout just work around the house :D

This is what the wife has set up for us if you need to know how to turn it on IM GOOD TO GO WITH THAT other than that your talking another language. We dont live THAT FAR AWAY from town 10 miles we dont have telephone we use our Cell Phone because there is no phone lines on to our property. Mom can see Daughter and talk girl things. Any how this is it hope this is what you wanted. Just asked the wife what/when/where/how she gave the same as below but looked this up if you go to the install for our town you come up with this and there is other info on there that I dont understand
