wigidit block heater plug

Just got in the wigidit plug from "geno's". ( the nights are getting a bit cool here in the mountains of Northern Nevada. ) In a quick assessment, it appears that the cord from the block heater comes up a bit short of where the gadget is to be mounted. ( talking about 2")

Do I need to release the cord somewhere around the block or am I just... . short :{ I'm installing it on a 05-2500 Quad cab 4X4.

The cord is plenty long. They stuff a lot of excess behind, just fish some of it through until you have enough. I can get mine to extend about 6-10 inches beyond my bumper if I need to.
