Maine has re-introduced wild turkeys and the population has boomed.



They will fly up in front of you on occasion, it is a little scary as they are always picking and digging at the sides of the road.

Some people will do anything for fresh turkey... . I almost had one this past thanksgiving. The tom flew right out of the woods his wing smacked my hood a few times... .

I haven't been turkey hunting is a very long time but we used a shotgun not a truck. Reloading must me quite expensive.
