Looks like it's time to replace 2nd lift pump. I'm thinking of doing this upgrade as well. Anyone have any pics of the kit installed on a 00-02. TIA Phil

Good luck on getting ahold of a kit from Wildcat. I've been asking them for one for about 9 months now, and they keep saying that they can't get a supplier for the right parts, or something like that. I've tried ordering other stuff from Wildcat to no avail also... Get a RASP system, or build your own kit. At least it'd be a quicker option...

Really? I just got my maxflow a few weeks ago with no problems. Great kit and easy install. I did it the same time as all my gauges and it was relatively simple. Gets rid of those silly banjo's!

I have bought several upgrades fron Rod and never had anything but great service.

I think Wildcat is a good place to get stuff too but I also had issues with them not having some stuff in stock and trying to get the suppliers to get them what they needed. They were good about getting ahold of me once they did get it though which was about a month wait. I think they got some of those things worked out now though.

I got my kit from Scott @ May Madness and installed it in about 3 hours. Everything worked great, though I never recieved the receipt I was promised... Scott?

I just finished installing mine today, seems to be working great, some thing you will need, dremel tool for cutting the stainless lines, and a 1/8 npt plug or scahrader valve. maybe I can upload some pics tomorrow.

What is the reason that you need the 1/8" npt plug??? Are you running a fuel pressure gauge??. .

There is a new type fuel line system that should be ready to ship next week. That is once all the parts and pieces hit the shop. This system will be a much easier system to install and still flow the fuel that we need to keep those VP44's alive and kicking.

Sounds to me he plugged the port for the fuel pressure gauge line. To each his own I guess. That's one of the things I liked most, it was designed for a gauge.

The supplier isn't the problem

Pics

I wish I had taken more, but I didn't want to touch my camera while covered in diesel fuel :) , I did replace the lift pump at the same time, and I am watching my fuel milage , because it seems to of picked up 2mpg. I have 1 pic at the vp44 hook up. As soon as I can figure out how to upload it.
