But why would you want to. Not many tire choices for the 17" wheels.

Let's see, let me think... there's LT33x12. 50R17, LT35x12. 50R17, LT37x12. 50R17, LT285/70R17, LT295/70R17, LT305/70R17, LT315/70R17, and I'm sure a few others I've forgotten... . that's a decent selection in my opinion.

I just want to be able to get the 265/70R17's MS load range E tires for mine, but Michelin does not make them.

Can't Take Credit For That Rig

Because it's a bigger tire and it looks good, for fairly cheap. That's why I did mine. Drtrox's rig looks  with the 3G wheels

The good looking truck in the above photo belongs to someone else. Just happened to spot it at MD TDR Fall Brawl at Kauffman's Motorsports last year and had to take a picture. Maybe someone knows who it belongs to...

Ken, I ordered mine with 265/70R17's MS load range E tires. Only problem is they are by BFGoodrich. I expect by the time I need new ones Michelin will have some available.

My truck had michelins on it from the factory. If you don't specify white letter tires you get michelins. Yes they're load range E as well.

Mine came with 265/70R17 Michelins too, but unfortunately, they are the All Season (AS) model tires. Of course, since it doesn't snow here and I don't go off road, I guess it doesn't matter.

BTW, Tim, after all the grief that you went through to get your truck, I'm really glad to read your posts about how much you are enjoying it. :D

Not true... . the LT265/70R17 Michelin LTX A/S's are available for our RAM's in outline white letters.
