2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Will '06 wheels fit my '98 truck?

I have a 1998 Dodge 3/4 ton Cummins 4x4 truck and was wondering if take off wheels and tires off a 2006 4x4 Dodge will fit it. I have 16" rims and the new are 17" rims. If not, is there an adapter to do this? Thanks, Herb

Yes, they will fit.

Yes they will fit, but they are slightly different on the offset. On my '95 2WD the balancing weights that are on the inside of the front wheels will drag on the lower shock mount bolts SLIGHTLY. May not be an issue on the 4X4.

The guy I commute with has a 99' 4x4. No rub issues with 06' wheels and tires.
