Will 2003 6 speed ECM/ECU work on 2005 auto truck?

I need a ecm/ecu (te module that bolts on the engine block) for a 2005 automatic 4wd truck and they are on back oreder for 2 months. I found one out of a 2003 6 speed truck. Will they interchange or do i have to have one out of a 325hp auto truck? If anyone has one, Please let me know as i need one asap.

Don't think it will. There was a what I call big change from 03 to 04. 5 in ecu's.

06/07 ecm's will not work on 03/05 trucks. 06/07 are canbus

ECMs are Programed Per-vehicle,they are not interchangeable. PCMs are interchangeable on 03/04 Trucks spec correctly.

But we can program any ecm and flash specific software into the ecm. All we need is vin number and truck specifications.



But the ecm needs to be specific to the years

The 03 doesnt have enough memory for the 05 configuration.

Also some ecm's are specific to trans combo.

Anybody got a set of injectors for sale?

I need a set of 325hp injectors if anyone has any they wanna get rid of. Stock or performance will work. Also need a set of 305hp, but need the 325's asap. Let me know
