Are they similar to the other rims where you must cut the back drums and may have front end interferance problems?

Are all aluminum rims from 98. 5 - 2003 the same as far as what they fit?

I need to replace bent OEM steel rims w/ something and might be able to get a set of OEM aluminum rims from a guy - he's not sure what year they are off of. (he got them in a trade).

Thanks!

Dan

No, The drums on your rears will not fit the 2003 rims same condition as all four wheel disc vs drum applications.

Dodge did not put alloy wheels on until 2000. The 2000-2002 alloy wheels will not fit without modifications to the rear drums. The 2003 wheels should fit fine as they are 17" wheels not 16".

Thanks cooker - I didn't realize all 2003 8 bolt rims were 17".

Didn't they have aluminum rims in the 98-99 timeframe??

Yep, all of the 2003 8 bolt wheels are 17" I shouldn't say all, as I do not know if this applies to the dually wheels.

On the 2500-3500 trucks Dodge did not offer alloy wheels until 2000, only painted steel and chrome were available in 1998-1999.

My local stealer told me they would not work  Thats what I get for listening to them :{ Sorry for the incorrect info in my previous post.
