Will 315's fit in the spare tire location?

Will a 315 fit on a stock wheel fit in the stock location? I've read differing accounts. I've got the Mag-Hytec and have read that it necessitates a strap pulling everything to the rear to make it work. Thanks.

I have a BFG 315-70-17 on an H2 wheel in my spare tire hole, fits just fine. I also have the MagHytek diff cover, plenty of clearance. I put a bungee around and pulled it back just in case when I cranked it up there, but really did not need it.

I've got one up there, too. I think the strap is necessary for 5" exhaust in the stock location to keep it away from the pipe. And I think you have to strap most tires on the 2wd models to keep them off the MagHytec cover, as the axle sits so much higher in the truck when loaded.....
