Still working on getting the head to the machine shop and get a valve job done and shaving it . 010 & getting the 60# springs in.

Going back with the . 020 Marine gastket.

Was wondering since I have the injectors out what would a set of 370's do to me? Going back with a 4K GSK, #10, & guages.

Later this summer will pull the transmission to put in new syncros and what not and install a SB 13" Con OFE. And after that I want a HX40 and 4" exhaust. Sometime in the near future, will get the timing bumped up.

Can someone tell me what 215's will do compared to 370's?

Appreciate the advice,

JD

P. S. I love smoke, but I want to be able to tow a decent amount also... around 10K.

Edit: My pump is a 175 pump 151 DV's... . I think?

I too did the head the same as you are doing. I did have the 370's before the head re-work.

It takes very little pedal to really smoke, especially with a load. As I recall, the 370's are guaranteed to smoke. They really add power.

I have an auto (all DTT) with 370 injectors, 3K GSK, #10, 60# springs (exhaust), . 020 Marine gasket (. 010 off head), 16 degree timing and BHAF. My truck has the 180 pump. The KDP is tabbed.
