2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Will 3rd gen shocks fit a 2nd gen 4x4???

Will a new set of 3rd gen shocks from a 4x4 fit a 2nd gen 4x4?

Apparently the front uses the same shock (KYB Gas-A-Just, 2005 vs. 1998). The rear seems to use a different part.
