Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) will a 98.5 turbo work in a 99?

I have a good turbo from a 98. 5 24v, i wanted to loan it to a friend that has a 99, i know the wastgate solenoid is mounted different but will the whole unit sawp and fit on a 99 motor?

can't think of a reason that it wouldn't

I took a hx35 off a 98 and put it on my 01 in place of the hy35 and it bolted right up so I am almost certain it will fit.
