I spoke with a dodge dealer today to find out what they would try to deny my warranty on. Exhaust is fine, air filter is fine and general mods like these. But he was saying that a chip will trip a 'Tampered with code' and if you lose the fuel pump DC will attempt to deny it.

I would like to put something on the truck that is not insane (70-100hp) and can be removed without a trace.

Figured as much. When I had my PSD Ford had the VOID sticker over the port on the comp. I put a diablo chip on there and Ford attempted to throw a fit.

No tampered with code:-laf but something that is nice to be able to look at is the duty cycle monitor. It will show what percent of the time the truck has spent at what percent of load. :cool:Of course there is also the freeze frame that you can look at that will show quite a few things that were happening when a code was set.

Heh. . . seeing "Engine History" information such as

"Max recorded fuel rate: 145%"

"Max RPM: 3900"

"Average Speed: 92mph"

"Average RPM: 2600"

"Average MPG: 8"

could be a dead giveaway ;)
