I have this fancy code reader that I got off of eBay a year or so ago to clear the occaisional CELs I get on my Grand Cherokee. It claims to be compatible with all the latest OBD-II and CAN Bus systems out today.

Will this work on my truck too?

I've been using scanners [ professional ] since they came out , bought the 1st Snap On , OTC ect.
Now I am out of the auto repair bis , except on a one at a time , have seen what is needed to fix computer controlled trucks & cars , I would waste money on anything els , even as just an owner tool , I see so many put parts on trying to fix a problem , they could have bought a scanner , learned a lot , because of what they do & tell ya , that you'd be money ahead after buy a pro scanner & not a lot of extra parts .
But on the revers of that , many think a scanner will fix a truck /car , any tool / pet , is only as smart as the owner .
I can not tell you about that scanner , because I do not keep up on the non pro scanners .
