Will HP increase hurt Auto Trans?

I have a "99 2500 4X4 3. 54 auto and pull a 9,000 lb fifth wheel. I have two questions:



1) With the valve body mods to boost line pressure will a mild box like the EZ harm the transmission while attempting to pull this large load?



2) On flat ground with the valve body mod's is it OK to pull this large a load with the trans in OD with the torque converter locked up?

Thanks, I called DTT and got good information from them. For those interested, they suggested NOT to put a performance box on the truck while pulling this large load UNLESS or UNTIL I have the entire transmission done. Although they said it might work OK, it also could also speed the demise of the transmission.



They also said it was only a question of time before the transmission gave up the ghost even with the valve body enhancement given the high weight being towed.
