Well, that depends on what you mean by "bad"... . I have a somewhat 'bad' ball joint on my passenger side, but when I flex it with a digging bar, it only makes a small bump noise and doesnt move hardly at all. . about 1/16" deflection, but i`m no alignment guy. . if you can move the tire up and down with that side jacked up in the air, then i`d say you have a problem. First thing you`d prolly see is the death wobble. . at 50mph, I wouldnt want to experience that. wheres talledega? more than a 500mi trip? hard to say if its worth the risk, depending on the condition of your ball joints and your courage. . heh. .

jus my 2c. .

Be sure that you don't replace them with the OEM ball joints or you'll be doing it all too soon again. The Moog ball joints have the zirk fittings and the consensus has been that they hold up much better.

I know that I saw a post on the TDR where to order them, but the truck shop that fixed mine said that they prefer to order their own rather than use customer supplied parts (of course they were about $50 more each going this route).
