Every Tuesday the East Coast gets a Nor’Easter....from what they say that will include next Tuesday as well.....
That snowbank behind the wife is in a ditch and that’s as high as my big snowblower will throw it. Running out of room..

You must have me confused with someone else....

It’s too late in the season to be getting these 1 1/2 to 2 foot whoppers...ground has started to thaw, Snow is soaking wet, bad stuff..,.

All day Today cleaning up, going back to single digits Friday so snow needs to be dealt with now...

A couple of weeks ago, we had a heavy snow, then a rapid melt with rain, flooding, and then ended the week with another 12"+ snowfall. Gotta love March.

I wonder if snowmobilers are complaining....

Probably not, first decent chance to ride in this area since the last of January. The scary part is that the lakes did not freeze right and cannot be trusted this winter.

Further North (Houlton and up) has been much better.

Two separate instances in the last week of big trail groomers sliding backwards down icy sled trails and rolling on their sides. Not normal.

Same here, it got so bad the west bank of my pond overflowed and flooded the yard. Our blue berry bushes got a heck of a drink :D
Then two nights ago another 12" of lake effect followed by big winds. The snowdrift along the driveway has almost taken over the snow fence.

Was the 80 car accident that they were talking about on the news anywhere near you?

Do you mean on I80? If so then yes that was at the bridge over the Meander Reservoir. Around 40 miles south of me. But only a 20 car pile up according to the news. From the looks of things they only got a few inches but the pile up was a result of an intense but brief whiteout that pushed through the area.

Yes, that was what I was referring to. I figured it was in your neck of the woods.

We've had several of those squalls over the last week. Pick up a few quick inches and the the sun shines. Seven Springs, the ski resort near our place, is reporting 18" of fresh snow in the last week. But it has all been in those short bursts.

Mike, glad you and the misses are alright. I just hope that all that snow does not melt at once or there is going to be flooding and that is not good at all.
Just be safe when shoveling all that snow.

That Nor'easter dumped 45cm (18 inches) of snow on New Brunswick.....by the time it made Central Newfoundland where i am,it was rain and high winds (right now). We sometimes have to travel to the west coast of the island (Gros Morne Park) to fire up the snowmobiles. Lack of snow in central has become the new normal for the past 10 years or so........changes everywhere.

WOW....those are some big numbers......we are still waiting for our first "big dump" of the winter here where i am.....but we still have time...LOL. My new snowblower is rusting in my shed.

Yes, a White. An MTD product, same thing was offered under the Cub Cadet brand name.

Can’t get that model anymore, 13 hp with a 33” swath. That will move some snow. I bought it New in 2001, Two sets of belts, one new chute, a self aligning bearing and a new friction wheel are all it’s needed so far in 16 years of service.

It'll probably stop snowing when Hell freezes over. The phenomenon is known in cosmological circles as 'Universal Inversion'. It's only happened once or twice here in the last 4 billion years (the evidence of the first occurrence is somewhat sketchy.) I think I'd prefer the cooler temps and snow; it's easier to stay warm than it is to stay cool.
