I am looking into getting Ride Rites to level my truck when towing. I looked at the frame where they are suppose to go and it looks like the gooseneck mount will get in the way. Does anyone have any experience with this? Can you drill through the mount if it is in the way?
Are the mounts for the bags overlapping the GN mount? If so, how much? You may be able to notch the airbag bracket. This is all bolt on, correct? I had the AirLift system which is similar and I remember them saying something about what to do if you have a GN hitch. Did you check www.ride-rite.com?
I have a PullRite fifth wheel hitch and it has a single long bracket for each frame rail. When I installed my airbags I drilled through both the frame and the hitch mounts then used longer bolts, very solid.
It looks like the bottom hole will go directly into the frame, but the top mount looks like it should go right where the hitch mounts to the frame. I will try to get a pic tonight maybe.
