Will the Cat 2um filter clog in cold temps?

The owner Bypass factory fuel filter,I should add the pump is 16 months old, and did NOT leave here in that condition... . It left in like NEW condition.
Ouch, another one bites the dust, or the dust bit it in this case. Again, it makes me wonder if contaminates introduced during install caused it, or improper filtration allowed water and particles in over time.

I changed my Mopar filter out to a Baldwin PF7977 yesterday. No visible water settled in the fuel I drained from the canister after 10k miles. After filter installation I ran the in tank lift pump with the drain valve open to flush another quart or so of fuel through the canister.

Well, except when in my case, you clean the engine. Then it will come on all the time. :-laf

I swear, the WIF light would be on for days in my old '01 if I even came close to the engine bay with a hose.
Your connector seal must have been leaking a little water and making contact. At least you know the light works.
 
k i filled a bucket with 3 gallons of fuel before i did the last connection at the cp3 thus no contamination



this each time i added filters to the system.
