Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) will this fuel filter work

Picked up some fuel filters for my 99 they tell

me that fs19598 replaces fs19528 the new

one is black and some what smaller

If it doesn't have the big wide top on it it will not work. I've been through all kinds of crap trying to get a local shop to get Fleetgaurd filters for me and they kept getting the fuel filters for the newer trucks.



I can't remember the part #. I think they run about $24 apeace.

The filter from Cummins is black and is smaller and comes w/o a top O ring had to use old one from brown one . Brown one is larger both will work. Ron in LOUISVILLE KY

Thanks for the replys I got the filters on vacation as I

was passing through Grand Forks N D. Getting to the

cummings shop in Chicago is a pain in the #%%.

I am sure glad they will work.
