are these worth buying? seems cheap I assume you need to change something on them governer perhaps. Forgive my ignorance.

They would only be a parts pump and the rotor head is at smaller as well and if they are the China version they are a boat anchor

trying to figure out why a rebuild kit is 30 bucks but a new pump is 700-900? feel like im missing something here.

First of all the $30.00 kit is a seal kit only ,no pump parts . The pump is a China knock off made with inferior parts I bought a pump from another company and so day d my neighbor and both pumps were junk only ran about a 1000 miles your best to find a local rebuilder you know and go through them or some place such as Industrial diesel or even a Cummins dealer etc.. You get what you pay for !!!!!

thanks for the insight. Seems like the going price is a bit higher from the diesel shops. I guess my only interest in rebuilding the pump is because of leaks. got a bunch of orings that leak fuel out of it and it loses prime. looks like near the fuel pin, and then the main oring near the main lines.

If nothing is wore you should be able to get a reseal job cheap ,I'd just call around ,but in these games cheap is not always best when it comes to pump replacement

That link you posted is from a company with a poor track record for rebuilt pumps. Stay away from Pen diesel. I am sure there are many threads on this site about their poor quality injectors and pumps.
