2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Window rocker switch

Mine has just started driver's side, sometimes window will go up/down, next minute it won't. Is this a common problem, and if anyone has any hints where the prob is, please feel free to chime in.

I have seen both window switch and window motor fail like that. The odds are higher for the switch.
