My 2013 2500 just started having a strange issue. When I use the auto up feature on the drivers window, it rolls all the way to the top then reverses and goes back down half way. If I just pull the switch part way up and don't use the auto up feature, the window operates fine. Anyone else seen this issue?

My Caddy will do something similar at times, the procedure to correct it is to put the window all the way down and then hold the switch in the auto up position until the window is fully closed. It re-calibrates it or something like that.

Worth a try first......

It has either lost the up limit and can be relearned as stated. Actually you want to start with window in up position. Press and hold button for five seconds after it goes all the way down. Then press and hold button for five seconds after it reaches the top of travel. Repeat for down again and it should be calibrated.

If it still does it the problem may be binding as it nears the top. High resistance on the motor will cause the window to reverse.

Found the issue. Part of the windows seal in the top channel had folded over and was apparently causing a problem with the auto up feature. Straightened that back out and did the relearn and now all is well. Thanks for the replies.

I've noticed if you hit a bump while rolling up it will go back down. It probably has something to do with the safety feature cause I tried to roll it up with my hand on it and it went back down. I could only imagine what any kind of obstruction wouldndo
