Window switch acting up in '03

My right rear window switch on the drivers armrest is acting up, it doesn't want to put the window up once in awhile. Is there an easy way to clean it or check it ? I imagine it's a sealed thing. Is it a do-it-meself item ?

The front door controls come out very easily. Just slip a small flat-blade screwdriver under the edge of the panel and pry up gently. As soon as you can catch it with your fingernails, it will pull right out.



Now, having said that, your problem is most likely inside the right rear door. Several people have found wires pinched in two (or nearly so) inside the little accordian tube that goes between the door and the B-pillar.

Thanks for that, after I had some cold water and a nap it dawned on me that running a search might work. Sure enough, I found your posts. Next time I'll try to put my brain in gear before I ask. Too much time in the hot engine room of the boat doesn't help my thinking.
